Droid vs. iPhone

Can't wait. All you iphone people are too vain!I like Verizon and have heard for so many folks about spotty coverage from At&t as well as drained batteries and the hassle of having to go to a Apple store just to get a new battery.

The iPhone is slick and a great product of design. The other one is not slick. It's like a wolf in sheep's clothing. No thanks. iPhone all the way.

The problem is that it just does not look cool. It is definetly one generation behind on looks and with all the plastic surgery goingon, looks are #1. I though Verizon was going to get the Iphone damm it… Verizon is forcing me to a network with less coverage….

I gotta say, the Droid is looking to definitely give the iPhone a run for it's money. Regardless of the number of apps on iPhone, it's the quality of apps that count, and there are plenty of good quality apps for android already! The screen is a little bigger, if it has the multi-touch in android 2.0, with the new gps talking directions map built in, I don't know.. it may be tough for iPhone soon.

Steve Jobs, goes the old joke at Apple, is surrounded by a reality distortion field; get too close and you might believe what he's saying. Apple has made believers out of millions of customers — and made a lot of investors rich — but Elmer-DeWitt believes that an ounce of skepticism never hurts when writing about the company. He should know. He's been covering Apple – and watching Steve Jobs operate — since 1982.
