Enaugh with the "multiple applications at once" myth, the iPhone let you run multiple applications, you can listen to music while you send messages, play games or browse the web, what the iPhone does not allow is thar "3rd party" applications run in the back ground. Only the applications tha Apple allow are let to run in the back

imagine a critic leaning towards the phone that that they currently own. I love the down play of the most important aspect of the Pre, running multiple applications at the same time. Are you kidding me? Mac apps now that's something that's not a big deal. And stop complaining about the key board. It's a lot easier to use than Mac's touch screen keyboard and the pre has one of those too.

I really wouldn't use a smart phone enough to justify the purchase, so I can only give you an opinion as an observer. The field seems to be getting crowded and there seems to be a smart phone out there for every need. The real truth seems to be that no single phone has everything needed to dominate the market.
