I have a BlackBerry Storm. I used to have an iphone. I hated that thing. Everyone says that the BB sucks cus I doesn't have wi-fi, that's a plus in my opinion. I travel a lot and when I wanted to check my mail my iphone had no wifi. My BB has internet every where! I will admit that the BB is alittle more complicated but its nothing to bad. As for memory I'd rather buy a $10 memory can as to a $250 new iPhone. Service wise the BB has it beat verison has awesome coverage. The screens and keyboards r pretty much the same except the the BBs screen clicks so u don't accidentally type the wrong. thing. Music well u can spend money in itunes or get it for free using limewire or torrents and put on ur phone. From where I'm sitting I'll take the storm any day.

All of my co-workers have iphones, I am the only BB. I can't tell you the frustration these guys have with dropping calls, phone switching off, losing connection on e-mail. The storm takes some time to get use to. I hated it at first, but now I love it. and I type faster than when i had buttons on the BB. I travel for work and have NEVER had a problem with not having internet. And I can be in some pretty remote places. Don't worry about wi-fi, cause if you can't get the connection on Blackberry, it wont help to have an iphone.

I own an iPod touch and am considering both the iPhone and Storm. I went to the Verizon dealer last night and tried the Storm. It was quite a disappointment. I couldn't believe it didn't have wi-fi and couldn't compare with my Touch in most ways, especially the touch screen itself. It seems that the Apple is better built and more user-friendly and just more fun to use.

Then there is the network. It would be so easy to solve if Verizon had the iPhone instead of AT&T. I think this was done to really screw people up.

my Verizon contract is up in a few months and I have to make a decision. Do I buy the phone or do I buy the network? Doesn't seem that you can have it both ways, damn!

Look I'm no apple fan at all. I don't like mac OS at all… i wanted to say that up front just for the apple lovers out here.

So I bought a Storm and I had problems with it the first day so I brought it back, it wouldn't keep my contacts. I thought just a fluke it was a bad phone so they gave me an other, I thought it was great until it started locking up on me, and my email was very slow to come to me. I thought it was me. So I went back to Verizon to get a bit of training on the device. well to my surprise I wasn't the only one having major issues with the phone there was a slue of people there returning the phone and getting something else. I was floored. So I went to the Apple store and played with an Iphone. I was impressed. It was so easy to use. and the picture quality was fantastic. I cought myself liking the IPhone. Again, like I said I didn't like Mac anything but the Iphone tweaked my interest. SO I bought an IPhone and now I love it. I own a business and it help me run my business from anywhere its incredible. I even have a credit card reader on it for the Itune App store its the best phone I have ever had. it probably raised my profit by 25% easily. Now I don't hate mac stuff so much and i am looking to buy a mac pro soon, ya I said I'm going to buy one. I cant believe what a phone did for me so I'm going to see what the rest of the Mac products will do for me also….

TO Laura,

I would wait and check out the new Nokia N97 or E75 or even the E63. Those are better than the iPhone and, the reception is outstanding with Nokias. I have an E71 and plan on updating to a full qwerty N97 or the E75. Both blow both the Storm and iPhone out of the water. I am on ATT and have NO dropped calls with my Nokia. Check those out before giving in to Verizon and their crippled devices. THere's no wifi because Verizon forced RIM to remove it. I would look around for a better device. The iPhone radio is very weak thus all the dropped calls and spotty service. Good luck!

iPhone is better than blackberry storm in terms of user interface, and also the Blackberry storm lacks wifi, which is simple careless on Blackberry's part. See ClashEm for a direct comparison.

looking for suggestions. I had an iPhone second generation. It died of a hardware problem 3 days after my warranty expired. Now I loved my iPhone and was very depressed that it died. However, my service sucked and since I am no longer in a contract I am planning on switching to verizon because it has so much better service. So here is the question. Should I go with the storm, go with one that has a real keyboard or what? The main complaint I have seen on forums about the storm is the keyboard, If I was used to the virtual keyboard on the iphone would it really be any big deal? give me suggestions please

sooo, my boyfriend just got the storm and I've had the iPhone for a little more than a year. Honestly, It's completely obvious that the iPhone is more high-tech. My boyfriend has already had to call Verizon four times because something happened with his phone. It doesn't work correctly 80% of the time. Everyone's talking about all the cool features and such…well, at least the Iphone freaken works. =/

Okay so here's my opinion. I love the Storm. I had a curve with AT&T, it would constantly restart on me and I sent it in 5 times, and they never offered me a new phone. I had dropped calls all over the place. I'm with Verizon now and my service is better but I still might go back to my curve. My friend has an iphone and I'm always typing wrong letters. It's a little slower on the storm to text but I like that if my finger slips to a different key, it doesn't select it unless I actually click it. I can't really say too much about the iphone because the texting is all I've messed with and I don't own an ipod. So far I like the storm, still getting used to it. I have 20 days left of the trial. Watching videos is really good on it. Ever since I got with blackberry I loved it, one of these days I'll test out the iphone more, but for right now I'm pretty happy with my storm.

Storm is king!!! Video,pics, and web browsing is no comparison to the inferior iphone. By the way, AT&T sucks! At least us Storm followers don't have to send out phone to get battery replaced. The Storm has blown in!
