I watched both videos. He looked the same in both; slightly worse now. His voice has been affected however. Let's pray he completely recovers soon.

First, his turtleneck shirt was NOT brown. That was Engadget's digital camera. If you don't set the proper white balance, the picture has funny colors, like white being yellow or black being brown.

Second, both of the sample pics look old. He had his sleeves pulled up today.

Third, as others have noted, Steve has had a Whipple procedure and looks totally normal for a patient having undergone that invasive a treatment.

What kind of people base a company's performance on the appearance of the CEO? Are we that shallow? I don't own an IPOD, so I guess I don't count anyway.

I work in a cancer center, and he looks just fine. I wish many of our patients could look that good. I agree with many of the comments about the obesity problem in America. Just because someone is slim, people assume some tragic illness. I don't doubt that he has trouble keeping weight on due to his surgeries, but it is hardly like he is at death's door.

saw steve wearing a new white shirt and jacket in Tokyo keynote once. he changed more in the first few years he was back at apple. I don't think he wears the same thing everyday either. someone once said he wore shorts and flip flops in the summer.

you are mistaken. if you think JOBS is a one man show you are naive. Yes, JOBS takes all the credit but I promise you some minion of his developed, engineered, designed, and invented the idea for JOBS and APPLE. Jobs just happens to be the largest shareholder.
