"Rush has one set of standards for himself and one for everyone else…" WHAT?? Pay attention to what is going with the "progressive" aka LIBERALS that are attempting to turn the USA into a socialist utopia.

AlGore, Pelosi, Teddy Kennedy, Clinton's, et.al., have always had a set of rules for themselves and another set for the "uneducated masses" who simply couldn't get along without them.

Apple is a business and businesses are there to make money. They helped out a customer who has been giving them free advertisement for years. Regardless of his political affiliation.

when you have a business account with apple (as both I and rush do), this is standard treatment.

When a company gives special treatment to someone, it's the company's right.

However if that is a problem, rather than attack the person getting special treatment, go after the company for showing favoritism.

Rush is the biggest promoter of the Mac and iPhone. And Apple has Al Gore on their Board. Rush promotes the best products because they are the best!

How is it "special treatment"? Rush had a problem with his system, Mac sent an engineer to help. I have an idea people, do exactly what Rush did, make all of the same life-choices and take the same actions, then you can call Mac for "special" help. Or, sit expensive Lattes and complain.

Rush is Conservative leader who likes a product that suits his purpose. It makes no sense to attack him because he expedited a much needed fix. So why do some of these posts attack his lifes purpose? He does not have seperate standards for himself and others, he has a set of standards that many of us share and try to uphold. Its easy for the ignorant to attack someone who stands for something, but it requires a certain amount of fortitude to stand fast against those who stand for nothing. The only thing I think Rush hates is willful ignorance, which seems to be on full display in these attack posts against the man for pointing out a deficency,or lack of promised functionality, which, by the way, is what he does to Government run amok. GOD bless Rush Limbaugh.

I'm sure Apple didn't mind all the free endorsements Rush has given it over the years. Nary a week passed that he didn't praise Apple products in a friendly, off-hand way. Ditto his friendly gibes directed at PCs and Windows. And since, according to Apple commercials, PCs are the computer of choice amongst uptight, white-male squares, I should think they much appreciated his efforts to help them with this impenetrable market by leading by example. It's only right that now, after his only direct complaint against Apple I'm aware of in the 15 years of listening to him that they make an effort to help him out. Consider too, if he with all his staff's expertise are having problems, it can be safely assumed many other anonymous, unempowered users are as well. Publicizing the problems will no doubt help out many who are, in their isolation and powerlessness, no doubt, getting the same runaround we Windows afficiandos are accustomed to.
